1、外部电源插座盖板,滑油箱接近盖板和IDG接近盖板一个锁扣失效放行条件。

  • 使用正常的锁扣固定盖板,清洁盖板粘贴区域并贴上金属胶带3M-436。

  • 保留时限不超过10个飞行循环。

  • 每个航段私下金属胶带确认其他铰链或者锁扣正常无损伤。

  • 再次贴上金属胶带。

  • 最多10个循环后完成修复。


2、外部电源插座盖板,滑油箱接近盖板和IDG接近盖板不允许多于1个锁扣失效,反推整流罩和发动机整流罩锁扣不允许失效。

1.If a latch on External Power Receptacle Door 114AR was failed, does it can be dispatched if seal the door with 3M-436 aluminum foil tape (speed tape) or the equivalent tape?  And the same situation of the Oil Tank Access Door 413AL, IDG Access Door 414AR?


2.Can airplane be dispatched with a fan cowl panel latch or a thrust reverser tension latch was failed? Desired Action

RESPONSE:


Boeing has reviewed REF/A/ and offers the following: Dispatch of Airplane with Maximum of One (1) failed latch or hinge installed on Oil Tank Access Door 413AL, IDG Access Door 414AR. If more that one (1) latch is failed, this repair is not applicable.


(1)  Secure access door with functioning latch. The bonding surface needs to be wiped clean with a clean cloth moistened with solvent MEK, Trichloroethane, MIBK, BMS 11-7, MPK (high purity), acetone, or Series 97 (Ref AMM/SOPM 20-30-97). Apply speed tape (3M Y-436 or equivalent) to 4 inch minimum beyond access panel edge with 2 inch overlap between tape layers. 


(2)  The time-limited repair is granted for no more than ten flight cycles.


(3)  After each flight, remove the speedtape and complete a DVI to ensure no more than one hinge or one latch per service door assembly is damaged.


(4)  After each flight, repeat the cleaning task and speedtape application per step 1 above.


(5)  After max. ten flight cycles from the initial repair of a service door, the damaged hinge or latch requires to be repaired or be replaced permanently. 


Dispatch of airplane with engine fan cowl or thrust reverser with failed latch assembly.


(1)  Unfortunately, Boeing does not recommend dispatch of airplane with engine fan cowl or thrust reverser with a failed latch due to stress requirements. This includes alternate means of securing the assemblies together.
